The Florida Solar Energy Center, prime contractor of BAIHP, has over 20 years experience in remote data monitoring and analysis. FSEC researchers have monitored hundreds of buildings, providing data for research on energy efficiency, indoor air quality and building durability. Full Description

A dedicated computer staff at FSEC ensures the quality and dependability of data collected simultaneously at multiple sites around the country. Data is stored in both public and secure electronic databases and backed-up automatically. Public access to Building America data is provided below for current and completed monitoring studies. Data collection routinely includes:

	Manufacturing Housing Lab The Manufactured Housing Laboratory is a 1600 ft2 ENERGY STAR® manufactured home that will serve as a BAIHP training center and building science laboratory. Description \| Data

	Highly Efficient Central Florida Home This home in Longwood, Florida near Orlando was recently completed with BAIHP design assistance. Using the systems approach, a package of features was used to produce an exceptionally energy efficient design at a reasonable cost. Description \| Data

	Side-by-side Comparison of Manufactured Homes North Carolina A&T University (NCATU) has located two high visibility manufactured homes on its campus in Greensboro, NC. One of the homes is conventional and the other is expected to be 50% more energy efficient. Data monitoring began in December 2000. Description \| Data

	Portable Classrooms This project provides technical assistance to portable classroom manufacturers, school districts and related organizations interested in improving the quality of learning and energy efficiency of portable classrooms. 	OakRidge National Lab Zero Energy Habitat Home In partnership with Oak Ridge, BAIHP prepared to instrumented a zero energy home (ZEH) built by Loudon County (TN) HFH. Description \| Data

	Filter Back Grill Experiment The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effectiveness of filter back grills by testing the airflow through various duct and filter systems. Description and Data

	Stine Residence All America Homes of Gainesville, Florida was awarded the 2003 EnergyValue Housing Award (EVHA) Silver Medal and the South East Builder's Conference's 2002 Grand Aurora Award for this home which incorporates many energy efficiency improvements including solar water heating and photovoltaics.
